5. A Chair is not a Chair
Designed initially to be a customizable chair which made of folded single cardboard modulars, the end product would imitate the stretching part of a accordion. However, the softness of the material provides great potentials for form manipulation based on people's need. There are two variations for the back of the chair: when the back is expanded and laid flat, the chair becomes comfortable and suitable for resting; when it's folded, the chair becomes an upright desk chair. Transitions smoothly from the back, the seating area follows the similar modular with varying heights to create a gently curved surface that best fit human's posture when seated.
